Pigeon Hands is a lullaby and was inspired by William Roberts’ work “The Pigeon Carriers”, which was on display The Hepworth Wakefieldfor a while in 2012, and was given it’s first thrilling performance by participants in a Musical Sculptures Family Workshop. It was such a magnificently large, enthusiastic and musical group that we managed to sing the chorus as a 3-part round, as well as compose some soothing music to accompany the verse.
