Cheryl was delighted to be asked to stay on for another term as Musical Director of the wonderfully cheery and enthusiastic Bailiffgate Singers, until Easter 2015. The choir embarked on an adventurous programme of music based around Purcell’s “Come Ye Sons Of Art” and “Songs of The North East”. Cheryl made several arrangements for this concert and the choir sang two of her own north-east compositions, Magical Glass and Maggie’s Rant. Here they are on an arrangement of Gan To The Kye. This stint as MD of this choir has been a joyous eye-opener for Cheryl, who now has a yearning to continue conducting should the opportunity arise.
