You Will Remember was originally composed for a Miners’ Memorial Service in Yorkshire and then performed both by Yew Tree Youth Theatre, and subsequently by Yew Tree Youth Music as part of their journey into the local history of Lupset in Wakefield. A couple of years ago, I rewrote the lyrics to be more relevant to Remembrance Day, and in 2018 it was performed by two different choirs on November 10th as part of the commemorations for the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1: The bridge Singers in Felton and Glendale Voices in Wooler.
