All 9 classes in Grangetown Primary School, Sunderland (Y1-6) worked towards dance and mime performances of The Rite Of Spring, Petrouchka, and The Firebird during “Stravinsky Week”, which also included the delivery of lessons and programmes of study by the classroom teachers using resources specifically prepared by Cheryl, accessing all other curriculum areas through music. All dance preparation and study of Stravinsky’s life and music prior to Stravinsky Week was prepared and delivered by Cheryl.
