The Birks Of Aberfeldie (arr.)

A simple arrangement for choir. On August 30th 1787, Burns arrived at Aberfeldy as part of a tour of the highlands and is said to have composed the song while standing under the falls there. The melody was published in England as early as 1690, but was even then referred to as a Scottish air.
