What will I do in the new year? Compose, arrange, walk in mud, sing, tidy and sort. Maybe new things, yet to come into focus. I’ll met you know.
More attempts to keep my choir motivated, more arranging, more composing, ore videos of old songs, more walking, more leaping. This will be September, I think!
I’m starting the month in the middle of composing my flight songs and with a recording of Reynold The Fox lined up for The Bridge Singers. After that, I don’t know. Tricky to make plans in these times!
I’m in the middle of composing a set of pieces all about flying. Having completed Skydancer in May, I’m now embarked on two more flying, cloudy songs. Kepp up with their progress here!
As April begins we are all in isolation and who knows when we’ll be able to meet up again for music-making and the like. I am attempting to keep up the spirits of my choir with daily messages and musical projects, and hopefully I’ll compose something too!!!
A month starting with optimism for some new music and performances to come, but at last in 2020 some time to do something about marketing again. Let’s see how much I can bound!
Fen=bruary starts with me just having completed the melody and lyrics for my new song Billfinch Morning. It will be premiered on 19th, so I must start the month by completing the arrangement for band and choir, and finish it having hopefully engineered an excellent performance!
January 2020 start with a leap and ends with Robert Burns – this is fixed already. For the in between bits, stay tuned!
An update on composing and performing news each day as usual, but this time accompanied by one of my festive songs or arrangements.
October starts with choir touring. There may be no more touring in October, but it’s a good heading!
