A song I wrote In 2010 for my friends from the Landreth family in Owaka in Otago in New Zealand who were hosting a reunion of the descendants of Robert Landreth, a stonemason from The Borders region of southern Scotland, who travelled to New Zealand in 1850.
After a month away from the blogging, I’m back in the hope that my plan to compose some Zoom-friendly songs for choir will be spurred on by this declaration of my plan!
The Bridge Singers have tried another new thing – a live virtual concert and video launch. It was rather moving and lots of fun. It was also a technical challenge, but we coped admirably!
