After a month away from the blogging, I’m back in the hope that my plan to compose some Zoom-friendly songs for choir will be spurred on by this declaration of my plan!
Lockdown February equals more choir stuff, lots of walking and maybe some composing.
An “air shanty” composed at the request of a friend for her husband who was retiring from the RAF in 2020.
What will I do in the new year? Compose, arrange, walk in mud, sing, tidy and sort. Maybe new things, yet to come into focus. I’ll met you know.
The Bridge Singers have kept on singing during December 2020 – individually and in teensy groups. We’ve produced some new videos too. Everything we’ve done is here in this Advent Calendar summary.
More attempts to keep my choir motivated, more arranging, more composing, ore videos of old songs, more walking, more leaping. This will be September, I think!
August has started with a long walk and a new song video. Hopefully there’ll be plenty more of each as the month progresses.
I’m starting the month in the middle of composing my flight songs and with a recording of Reynold The Fox lined up for The Bridge Singers. After that, I don’t know. Tricky to make plans in these times!
I’m in the middle of composing a set of pieces all about flying. Having completed Skydancer in May, I’m now embarked on two more flying, cloudy songs. Kepp up with their progress here!
The month has started with a new choir “lockdown video” and a new composition. Who knows what will happen during the rest of the month – hopefully something creative and something with other people!
