Today was the second of two workshops with the local Beaver group up at Felton Village Hall. In the first, back in November we did composing, Banana Fanfare 2, singing, dancing. This time they just wanted singing, and just one song so we tackled The Lady In the Tutti Frutti Hat made famous by Carmen Miranda. We worked on accuracy and spirit and performed it 45 minutes later to parents who had come to pick up their Beavers. It was slick and could really do with more work, but fun was had and “singing a song in public” was attained!
