On 8th October 2017 Cheryl’s newest song for Yew Tree Youth Theatre was performed by them at the Yorkshire Miners’ Memorial Service in Selby Abbey. The lyrics for the song were taken from Sarah Osborne’s play script and the verses were sung mostly as solos throughout the course of their play which centred on the devastating closure of the Selby Mine.
