Description

I find the hour before dawn to be a very inspirational time. I also love to walk along the beaches in Northumberland at this time of day. A favourite beach is Ross Sands which has
Bamburgh Castle to the south and Lindisfarne Castle to the north and if you’re lucky, there are seals at the northern end of the beach.  On a foggy day, the sun sometimes rises from the sea as a red orb and floats in and out of view. On a clear day, in winter, the sun rises behind Bamburgh castle and the sky can be a vibrant range of apricot shades. This score is a single line melody with guitar chords and piano accompaniment. There are also two versions for SATB choir – one with divisi and one with only four voices.
