“Even A Subdued Sky” is part of the Silent Early Stroll collection of songs for SATB choir. These seven songs use the early stroll tweets from Ian McMillan, all of which contain the word “silent” or “silence”. They were composed for The Bridge Singers during the lockdowns of 2020-2021 and were performed as a set by them in 2022. Each song can also be performed individually. Even A Subdued Sky is a round with lots of rests and a bouncy feel. On this recording, you hear it once through, then as a many-parted round. There is also a backing track with some accompaniment patterns. If you’re interested in using the backing track, contact Cheryl.
