Description

“Fallen Leaf Runes” is part of the Silent Early Stroll collection of songs for SATB choir. These seven songs use early stroll tweets from Ian McMillan, all of which contain the word “silent” or “silence”. They were composed for The Bridge Singers during the lockdowns of 2020-2021 and were performed as a set by them in 2022. Each song can also be performed individually. You can read about all seven songs here!

Fallen Leaf Runes is ethereal, with softly evolving repeating patterns, and lends itself to getting slightly out of synchronisation – this was useful during the Zoom choir days!
